2. No property of the LAB should be damaged if anything is found to be damaged you will be liable for the fine.
3. Please back up your data before coming to the workshop.
4. Your team will be provided with a attendant who will help you out throughout the workshop.
5. Adhere to the rules and regulation of VIT.

Wireless Not Working in Dell Inspiron
There seems to be a problem in Wireless drivers in Ubuntu on Dell Inspiron Laptops. Well, here is a solution:
- Download these files first(via Windows or any other OS) and save them to any folder:
- http://mirror.pnl.gov/ubuntu//pool/restricted/b/bcmwl/bcmwl-kernel-source_5.100.82.38+bdcom-0ubuntu3_i386.deb
- http://mirror.pnl.gov/ubuntu//pool/main/d/dkms/dkms…_2.1.1.2-5ubuntu1_all.deb
- http://mirror.pnl.gov/ubuntu//pool/main/p/patch/patch_2.6-3_i386.deb
- http://mirror.pnl.gov/ubuntu//pool/main/f/fakeroot/fakeroot_1.14.4-1ubuntu1_i386.deb
- Boot into Linux and for each of the four files, do the following step:
Right click on the downloaded file -> Open with GDebi Package installer -> Install
- Go to Menu -> Control Center -> Additional Drivers.
It will show a Broadcom driver listed. Click on Activate if now already activated .
That’s it. The wireless driver is now installed and running. You should be able to connect to any WiFi network present around you.
